Mission
FOOD Denmark
- joins the academic, industry and innovation system within the food related sciences by providing cross-disciplinary and cross-university PhD teaching and networking events,
- initiates and participates in international collaboration,
- collaborates with the food related PhD schools to provide high quality PhD education that will lead to the best possible career options for PhD candidates in public and private organizations as well as industry at the national and international level,
- establishes international PhD networks and relationships that will facilitate future food research and innovation in dialogue with the LMC industry and innovation members.
First-rate PhD candidates will be an instrument in developing foods of the highest quality possible to the general public worldwide. It is the aim that such foods must be produced in respect of the global climate and environmental challenges.
